Towson University is a great place to discover and explore your academic interests. We’re one of the largest schools in the University System of Maryland, enrolling nearly 19,000 undergraduates and nearly 4,000 graduate students. Freshman Admissions

Applying to Towson University has never been easier. All you need to do is log on to www.towson.edu/applynow and fill out the application. Freshman applicants must submit the following with their application:

• Application fee
• Secondary school record (transcript)
• Standardized test scores
• Essay
• Letters of recommendation (optional)

Transfer Admissions

Transfer applicants are students who graduated from high school and subsequently completed at least 12 semester hours or 18 quarter hours during a regular term at a regionally accredited college or university. To apply as a transfer student, log on to www.towson.edu/applynow and fill out the application. Transfer applicants must submit the following with their application:

• Fee and fee waivers
• College transcripts
• Standardized test scores
• Essay

Towson University Northeastern Admissions

TU’s new programs in Bel Air, Md., serve students in the northeastern part of the state who would rather stay close to home. For more information and to apply to Towson University in Northeastern Maryland, log on to www.towson.edu/closetohome.

Graduate Admissions

Prospective graduate students can apply online. Log on to https://www.towson.edu/academics/graduate/index.html and click on Graduate Programs on the left to find your program’s requirements for admission. When you’re ready to apply, click on Apply Now on the right, or just go to https://grad.towson.edu/apply.
